This year it falls February 19-20 (last year it was in January). Jeremy and Sarah went down to Chinatown one Friday night from about 8-11 p.m. a couple weeks before (the best time--day of the week, time of day, timing in relation to holiday). We are not sure if this year is the year of the sheep or the goat. In Chinese the word 羊 (yáng) is a generic term, and can refer to a sheep (绵羊), goat (山羊), ram/buck (公羊 male sheep or goat), 羚羊 (antelope), etc.
