We were up in Auckland at 4-something in the morning to catch a 0730 JetStar flight to Sydney which landed at 0915 (but lost 2 hours with the time change). We did not have a flight from Sydney to Singapore until 1735, but Qantas let us check in our baggage. This did mean that we had to go through customs and security. Originally, we had considered catching a taxi and going into Sydney (a bit of a commute) but decided not to pay the large (times two drives, times two cars) fare to see one museum. We also decided not to catch the Airport Link Train as a few airport concierge people looked a little nervous for us. We discussed one option presented: catching a 15-20 minute taxi to Brighton-Le-Sands beach, but Jeremy was concerned (overly concerned) about finding two taxi's back. Ultimately, we did not go anywhere and the kids were impressively good. We did not land in Singapore until 2230 (after losing an additional 3 hours in the time change). Never realized that I did not take any pictures of this day. (Took 1005 pictures, anyways.)

Found all of our luggage, went through customs, slid into 2 taxi's and were home and off to bed by about one in the morning. Slept in and didn't go to work. Left some suitcases untouched for a couple days. Analea did laundry. Want to go back! Only regret: not having more days to do nothing.
