Big Trip Day 17 (Te Anau)

We hadn't had any planned plans on this day.  We had breakfast, saw a viewing of "Fjordland on Film" (for NZ $40) at the local cinema, shopped in the downtown district, had Subway for lunch, drove around the town, enjoyed the lake, and jumped on the hotel trampoline.  We ate a very good dinner at Kepler's and played at the local park playground.  (Note:  we ran into Catherine--pictured with Sarah--and her husband Jeremy in the parking lot of Subway!  They currently live in Beijing.  Sarah had met Catherine when Catherine was visiting Singapore a year earlier with a church friend.  Those two had lived together in Bangkok.  We also came to realize that they knew a church friend of ours from Virginia while that friend and Catherine had lived together in another location.  Such a small world.)
