Jeremy kindly and unexpectedly was given the day off of work on Christmas Eve day, being a Monday with Christmas on Tuesday. We explored the Science Center. There is a lot to do there, both inside and outside, plus an IMAX. We were pleasantly surprised with the cheap price, too.
They have a McDonald's connected to the facility, so that's what we had for Christmas Eve dinner.
We did manage to pulll off the annual tradition of opening one gift the night before. It was tweaked a little different this year. They did not get to choose the gift. Also different was that they each got one sibling gift, not all three. Also different was that they got to shop on their own for that particular sibling. Accomplished at the Science Center gift shop. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. Hey, everything else had been done weeks before. (Normally I have four $10 gifts per child and the three siblings choose from the pile. There's no such thing as a $10 toy in Singapore!) So, this is what we made work and opened that night.
We also made our favorite Mexican hot chocolate!
And tracked where in the world Santa was right before going to bed:
