We woke up and had a cereal breakfast in our hotel room. We drove about 5 minutes to Skyline Luge where we purchased a package of 6 gondola and 6 luge rides for $95. The crowds were a bit long.
We went on to OBO zorb (there are others in Rotorua) where Madison and Parker rolled down the hillside together for $80 and Allison by herself for $45 (all dry--as you can go down wet!). Unfortunately, McKenna, not being 7 years old, was unable to go.
We had booked a cultural tour and buffet dinner at Te Puia. (There are other places, but they had later dinner times and some did not allow walking around ahead of time. Additionally, I wanted the cultural/hands on/exhibition experiences, not just a show.) We arrived around 3:00. Our tour (including show) began at 4:30 and our dinner at about 7:30. Total cost was $370 (plus souvenirs in the gift shop!).
