We woke up in Missoula, MT and had breakfast with Jeremy's mom, Pam, and her husband David at the Montana Club. We drove north and had a good lunch at Cislo's in Kalispell, MT where we were met (having driven from Sandpoint, ID) by Jeremy's dad, Dean, and niece Savannah.
After lunch, we drove further to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. We checked into our hotel "Glacier Highland" (basic but fine) which was just outside of the entrance and had a gas station at.
We spent the afternoon enjoying nature. We walked the Trail of the Cedars, watched squirrels find and bury food, explored a tree growing on a rock, visited a foot bridge at Upper McDonald Creek, watched a duck trying to cross fast moving water, had pizza dinner with local Huckleberry soda at Red Jammer (the pizza was terrible), threw rocks at McDonald Lake and watched chipmunks/gophers at historic McDonald Lodge.
