Another School Year

We started another school year.  The kids are returning to Singapore American School.  Allison is in the 8th grade, Madison in 5th, and Parker in 1st. 

On Saturday, August 10, we attended the annual Open House where everyone finds out their teacher and their schedule and can check out their new classroom.

Parker has this big open room before he enters his classroom.  There are about four classrooms around it.  He has a fun classroom and teacher.  Parker ended up with at least five kids from his last class, a friend from church, and a new girl whose family moved in over the summer that we'd sometimes run into at the base pool.

Madison has a great room and teacher.  She ended up with her best friend and some others from her class last year.

Allison will be continuing on in her last year of Middle School.  She has all new teachers, with the exception of her Spanish teacher.

Parker will doing doing Cub Scouts this year.  He can be a "tiger" up at the school.  During Open House, they held a Raingutter Regatta.

Allison and Madison then started school on Monday, August 12.

Parker started on Wednesday.  SAS likes the Primary School (grades K-2) to hold "parent-teacher-student conferences" during the days that everyone started.
