L.A. Temple and Lights

Saturday, December 29--We decided to take Parker to the L.A. Temple for his first experience, since he's turned 12, performing baptisms for the dead.  (Standing as proxy for those who have passed on but did not have the opportunity to accept the full gospel of Jesus Christ in this life, giving them the opportunity to choose in the next life.)  We stopped at In-n-Out for lunch beforehand and had dinner at Din Tai Fung afterwards.  We returned to the temple to see the holiday lights on display before heading back home.
