Merry Christmas!

On Saturday, December 23, we left our holiday festivities for Salt Lake City festivities.

McKenna's week of school activities and crafts:

Sunday morning (Christmas Eve Day) Music and the Spoken Word with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (holiday program):

Amazing evening "Christmas Carol Service" at the stunning The Cathedral of the Madeleine, featuring the Choristers of the Madeleine Choir School.  The program consisted of Chants, Readings, and Carols.  The Carols this year consisted of Rorate coeli; O Come, O Come Emmanuel; Virga Jesse; When the King Shall Come Again; A Hymn to the Virgin; Ave Maria; The Holly and The Ivy; Of the Father's Heart Begotten; I Saw Three Ships; In dulci jubilo; While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks; Lux aurumque; I Wonder as I wander; Laetentur coeli; O Come, All Ye Faithful;  and The Blessing.  There was also an organ postlude that showcased the pipes (and the talent of the organist) even more so than during the service:
