Holiday Fun

Saturday, December 23--about an hour before arriving in SLC, we received a text from good friends who had lived with us in Ridgecrest, having just moved to Utah, and one of Allison's best friends, stating that they were an hour away from downtown SLC also.  We met up for some fun social time

Monday, December 25--afternoon movie showing of "Star Wars The Last Jedi"
Tuesday, December 26--Wairhouse Trampoline Park fun and Grand America Hotel Christmas display

Wednesday, December 27--Salt Lake Temple endowments, Holdman Studios tour, dinner at Café Zupas, and "Luminaria" at Thanksgiving Point:

Some of Allison's photos from Luminaria:

Thursday, December 28--Heber Valley Railroad and lunch at Dairy Keen:

Friday, December 29--"The Front Climbing Club", "The Greatest Showman" movie, New Year's Eve Sing-a-long at the Assembly Hall:

Saturday, December 30--Ice skating at Murray indoor parks and rec center and watching the "Japanese Drummers" at the Assembly Hall with Grandma and Grandpa while Sarah and Jeremy went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory:

Sunday, December 31

Went to church and hung out at grandma and grandpa's and watched the NYC ball fall.

Monday, January 1

Back home!

***The kids did not want to skate "outside" at the Gallivan Center, we skipped the Zoo Lights at Hogle Zoo, we didn't have/purchase snow pants for Gorgoza Tubing Park City, we didn't buy tickets enough in advance to see the "Savior of the World" production, we didn't make room for all-day breakfast at Kneaders, viewing this year's Christmas display at O.C. Tanner Jewelers, or the Jerusalem movie at Clark Planetarium...  NEXT TIME!
