Magic Mountain

We had previously purchased Six Flags "Magic Mountain" tickets so that we could go the day after school was out--a Friday that we hoped would not be too busy, including the fact that the Los Angeles schools were not yet out.  Well, Allison spent the night before we left throwing up.  With summer being so hot, and again crowded, we thought we would get back.  The tickets were only good through the middle of September.  Then, Jeremy went back to D.C. for 4-1/2 weeks coming home in early/mid-September.  He was supposed to land in Las Vegas and then arrive home at 2 a.m. on Saturday, September 9.  He didn't arrive until 5:30 a.m., but we were up at 7:30 a.m. and off.

It was gorgeous weather and not too crowded.  We arrived home about 10 p.m. and all slept in the next day.  Thank goodness for afternoon church.
