Jeremy got to go back to the D.C. area for a week-long training that he had wanted. He was able to see good friends/past superisor, shop at Wal-Mart and Trader Joe's, visit my brother and his family, and inspect our house and meet our newest tenants. If that wasn't great already, he was also able to take some "home leave" (vacation hours you receive for living overseas, separate from true vacation time, that you can use if in the U.S.) and fly up to Idaho for a week or so to spend time with his sister and her family, his dad (who lives with her), and meet up with his mom and her husband (who came over from Montana). And, even better, Jeremy's dad flew to Singapore with him on the same flight!
