One of our first major outings was on Saturday, the day before Mother's Day. First, we went to The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Any high-end store you can think of is located all under this roof. We also enjoyed the whimsical, water-fountain-whirl coming from the glass ceiling and dropping through a hole at the bottom into the mall...which you can ride a boat around.
We also took them a few feet away to "The Art of Bricks" (aka the Lego exhibit) at the ArtScience Museum. Sarah and Jeremy had done this exhibit and all the others at the museum a little while ago as a date night.
While in the area, we introduced Sarah's parents to hawker stalls/food at the historic Lau Pa Sat. It's also fun because it sits in the middle of downtown high-rises and a little road in front is closed for eating at tables:
Happy Mother's Day!
Parker and Madison each had one piece of art class work displayed in an elementary school art show. I went up to view both during Parker's class allotted time: We had a church BBQ at East Coast Park. We brought a few outdoor play items, including the "bubble machine."
