Brick

Tuesday, October 30--A brick was thrown through our car window while Jeremy was driving from one church building to another.  It was around 6:15 a.m. and therefore dark.  An individual stepped out between some cars parked on the road in a section of houses.  Fortunately, it hit the steering wheel instead of his chest. Glass was everywhere in the car but he doesn’t have any scratches. He’d just dropped off one of our kids to start seminary at our building.  He had not yet picked up the friends of two others at the end of their seminary in a different building, so it was just him. We are blessed and thankful.

The police department took a report, took pictures, kept the brick and began talking to neighbors in that area and pulling surveillance cameras.  At least other car had had a brick thrown through their back windshield while parked on the street previously.  We believe that another brick may have also been thrown through/at a moving vehicle around the same time as Jeremy's.
