Keystone Conference

Monday, June 18 to Monday, June 25--Allison had the opportunity to go to Atlanta for the annual BGCA Keystone Leadership Conference.  BGCA youth centers around the country, including military ones around the world, get to compete each year to complete certain service, leadership, and mentoring activity levels and then fund the participation of a handful of their youth.

They were all absolutely exhausted when they arrived home.  However, they had a fantastic time!  Allison ran into a guy she'd met at 4-H STEAM Camp in Maine two years before.  She also ran into a girl she had known in Singapore who also won the Military Overseas Youth of the Year during the conference.  They had fun attending lots of local sights...and having it rain while they were there (a highlight for those of us who live in the desert). They also participated in lots of presentations, group activities and workshops.
