5th grade "Moving On" Ceremony

Wednesday, May 30--Parker participated in his 5th grade "Moving On" Ceremony.  (Moving on to middle school.)  He "cleaned house" by receiving the following awards:  Certificate of Achievement for passing 5th grade, Gold Physical Fitness Award for passing all five California physical fitness standards, Participation Award for participating as an Anchored4Life Team Member, Accelerated Reader Award for having over 200 AR points, the Principal's List Award from Assemblyman Vince Fong for having academic achievement, Certificate of Special Congressional Achievement from Congressman Kevin McCarthy for having a 4.0, and President's Education Academic Award from U.S. President Donald Trump for Outstanding Academic Excellence.  There are also pictures of Parker with his teacher Mrs. Jones (in the patterned dress) and his principal Mrs. Christman (in the solid dress) as well as with all of the girls from his class--who asked him to line up with them.
