Allison is 17!

She had a birthday party at the house on the Friday night--it turned out to be socializing in the kitchen and watching a movie, as it was pouring (how odd in the desert) that night cancelling backyard fire pit and s'mores plans.

 Her actual birthday, on Monday, was a holiday (the same day that we went to Trona Pinnacles in the morning) so she was out of school.  Yay!  She chose to eat at "Red House" BBQ in Tehachapi for dinner.
